General Inquiry And Booking Conditions

Travel Agents make any booking and reservations in writing per e-mail.
Genesis Cruise has the right to reject any verbal bookings.
No allotments of slots will be given to Travel Agents, Genesis Cruise reserves the right to manage all bookings to its full discretion.
Genesis Cruise replies to any inquiry and booking within 24 (twenty-four) hours.
Travel Agents submit all required passenger details, number of passengers, full passenger names, check-in, and check-out dates, passport numbers, visa expiry dates, special requests (e.g. vegetarian meal, honeymooner) etc., to Genesis Cruise per standard form to the specified deadlines (one day before the cruise sail).
All passengers must embark with valid passports & Vietnam visas. Genesis Cruise reserves the right not to carry a passenger without a valid visa.
Children whose traveling documents are attached to their parent’s passports must travel with their parent. Failure to comply might result in penalties imposed by the local authority which shall be borne by Travel Agents and Genesis Cruise reserves the right to release the bookings under the above circumstances.
Genesis Cruise advises Travel Agents in writing the exact arrival time and pick-up point of passengers in Halong Bay. Travel Agents fully responsible for the proper and timely arrival of passengers. Travel Agents are further responsible for clearly forwarding all information to their drivers or tour guides.
Any employees or contractors of Travel Agents entering Genesis Cruise premises and delivering passengers for check-in are to oblige to Genesis Cruise company standards and regulations and to follow the instructions of Genesis Cruise personnel at all times.
Genesis Cruise maintains the right a timely departure of its vessels. Genesis Cruise further reserves the right to apply an additional charge to Travel Agents for any unscheduled transfer to the vessel due to delayed passenger arrival.

Payment Method

The payment will be based on the reservation sheet of the company and receipts issued by Genesis Cruise must process confirmation of the company.
Travel Agents are obliged to pay on time and in full to Genesis Cruise according to the payment regulations of Genesis Cruise proposed in each period and each case.
Late payment is subject to 1.5% interest charged on a monthly basis. Please note that this arrangement will be strictly enforced. Travel Agents failing to comply will have their credit facility revoked with all future bookings to be prepaid till credit facility is retained.
Genesis Cruise has the right to cancel all the bookings of Travel Agents in case Travel Agents do not complete the regulations on booking and payment policies of Genesis Cruise.

Other Terms And Conditions

For loss of and/or damage to property: Genesis Cruises shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to money, jewelry, precious stones, securities, financial instruments, tickets, or other valuables unless they have been delivered to Genesis Cruises and a receipt issued.
Insurance: Genesis Cruises encourages passengers to buy international tourist insurance before cruise date.
In the event of dispute settlement between passengers and Genesis Cruises, Vietnam laws will be applied.
Transfer of Guests: In the event, Genesis Cruises is unable to provide cruise services for passengers with confirmed reservations, Genesis Cruises will organize the transfer of the passengers to Genesis Cruise’s other cruises if available or another cruise operator. Genesis Cruises will bear the costs of transport and any reasonable additional costs incurred on the occasion of this transfer. Payments made by Genesis Cruise for the unused services will be reimbursed to Genesis Cruise.
Taxes and service charges: Genesis Cruises reserves the right to adjust all or some rates agreed for the duration of the present Agreement in the event of tax and service charge alterations by the Vietnamese Government.
